It is an entire chapter about the spiritual victory and eternal security that we have in Jesus Christ. What God has commanded us, He now enables us to do. Being “set free from the law of sin and of death” has put you on a new course with a new governing power in your life. The Law has power to tell us what to do, but it does not give us the power to do it. In verse 1, we see justification in the Son. This is beautiful.
